Animating Garfield in Blender

This is my first blender test, and I really love the interface and comfortability. I have made my decision to switch to blender from Toon Boom Harmony. when it comes to 2D blender got some handy tools and all free on board. and VR is also there I have seen some great 2D VR arts done by Great Goro Fujita. Also learning 3D but switching from Maya is not an easy task.

One Galle Face Commercials

Shangri-La Colombo marketing team wanted a new mechanism to showcase additional content and multimedia in a creative way to engage potential new clients and inspire them to join. Due to the large size of the project and relatively fast turnaround time, I coordinated with a major animation studio Odlo VFX to begin the content creation and editing process as soon as storyboards were approved.

My responsibilities were to ensure the character animation production and motion capture retargeting in the entire series.

Grease Pencil Logo Animation

Adding Sounds bought our Logo Animation to the next level, Music was Composed by Dimithri Rajasinghe from Odlo VFX (Pvt)Ltd.

Hare Animation test 2D

Animation was done with Hare Rig by Aman Musovic. you can find it on CG meetup. I wanted to do some walk & Run tests before jump into a acting performance. The exaggerated run was heavily inspired by a GIF image that I have seen in the internet. 

My 1st Feature Film Animation Portfolio

Finally, We did it, It was the same feeling that came across to Megamind after he defeating the Metro-man, the most impossible mission with our tiny little dream team of 10 artists together working from scratch to the polish for this 90 Mins of beauty is priceless. I'm really really happy to lead the Character Animation team at Studio 101, This is one of my greatest Achievements.

11 Second Club April Competition

Finally Participated for the 11 Second Club & came cross 17 out of 330 entries in April competition 2018. Got some good advise & comments for improvement from the feed. Need to work on that.
